HIV Testing
The only way to confirm if you have HIV is through testing. The CDC advises that everyone aged 13 to 64 get tested for HIV at least once as part of routine healthcare. Knowing your HIV status provides valuable information to help you take steps to protect your health and that of your partner. This section addresses common questions about HIV testing, including the available types of tests, where to get tested, and what to expect during the process.

STI Testing
It’s important to get tested as soon as possible if you’ve had unprotected sexual contact, you find out your partner has an STD/STI, or if you think you’ve been exposed to anything.
If you are sexually active the CDC recommends you get tested every 3-6 months.
We test for the following STIs:
- Chlamydia
- Gonorrhea
- Syphilis
- Hepatitis A, B & C

Get tested at the Galion City Health Department
On Tuesdays, also at Marion Public Health 181 S. Main St Marion OH, 43302.
